Causes
Researchers are currently unsure of how Schizotypal Personality Disorder is caused. But there are many theories for how it is caused. These theories include the belief that this is developed due to biological and genetic factors. It is also believed that Schizotypal personality disorder can also be caused due to social factors (how the person may act around others at a young age). But it has been shown, that if a person who had this personality disorder, that there is a slight increase of this personality disorder being "passed down" to their offspring.
